Münch Gruppe has secured three long‑term project financings for its battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Saxony‑Anhalt. Combined, the transactions amount to 250 MW / 500 MWh of BESS capacity and provide the
financial foundation for building a unified 500 MWh battery storage cluster in the region, which is set to become Germany’s largest contiguous storage installation in commercial operation. Capcora supported Münch Energie as exclusive financial adviser throughout the entire process, from structuring to the successful closing of all bilateral financing agreements with three regional lending institutions.

Capcora advises on a Mezzanine Financing for Solar Portfolios provided by Sienna IM

Sienna Investment Managers (Sienna IM) has provided mezzanine financing facilities of €36 million to support two portfolios of large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across Germany. The financing enables CAPEX funding for approximately 421 MWp of solar capacity spanning eight federal states: Bavaria, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein, and Thuringia. Capcora acted as exclusive financial adviser to the sponsor, a German developer and IPP, in this transaction.

Münch Energie secures project financing for 100 MW BESS Portfolio in Saxony-Anhalt

Münch Energie Group (Münch Energie) has successfully closed project financing for two additional large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, each with a capacity of 50 MW (discharge) and 100 MWh storage. The long‑term, asset‑based financing solution was supported by Capcora as the exclusive financial advisor and structured by DAL Deutsche Anlagen‑Leasing (DAL). The project funds are being provided by a banking consortium led by DAL/Deutsche Leasing Finance GmbH.
