Job Purpose
As a Vice President at Capcora, you will be responsible for advising clients on international Debt and M&A transactions, while leading the planning, structuring, and execution of advisory mandates across our key European markets, with a particular emphasis on Germany. By collaborating directly with industrial and financial stakeholders, you will contribute to the company’s global expansion and strategic development.
Key Personalities
- Coordination and project management of international M&A and debt advisory mandates. Involvement in all aspects of the deals’ cycle, from strategy, transactions planning and structuring (including drafting of term sheets) to closing, ensuring timely execution.
- Coordinate the preparation and transaction documentation, such as pitch presentations, teasers, information memorandums, process letters, and advisors’ engagements.
- Coordination of transaction internal deal teams consisting of designated Analysts and/or Associates, and management of the daily operations in a joint effort with the Directors.
- Engagement in our deal sourcing/pitch activities jointly with the Directors and/or Managing Partners.
- Support the definition of market approach strategy, coordination of market approach execution and reporting.
- Preparation and/or analysis and review of transactions’ financial models, set up of data rooms and coordination of due diligence activities (including Q&A process) together with international legal and technical advisors.
- Support the negotiation of term sheets, SPAs or loan documentation, ensuring optimal terms and conditions for our clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international lenders (institutionals, debt funds, and international banks), investors (developers, asset managers, investment funds, IPPs), and clients.
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of professionals to deliver industry-best service and deliver best practices to our clients and partners.
For this role, ideally, you bring:
- Master’s degree in finance, business, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in banking, investment banking, banking/lending industry, financial advisory, and/or renewable industry or related fields, with strong knowledge of project and corporate finance structures (including junior/mezzanine and bonds financings).
- Proven financial expertise and capability to assess large portfolios of assets, and structure mid/large transactions.
- Excellent financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and deal structuring skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under high pressure and maintain a high level of detail orientation and quality.
- Excellent MS Excel skills, ideally with experience in VBA or another programming language. High proficiency in the usage of MS PowerPoint and other MS Office products.
- Self-drive and motivated attitude to strive for excellence and continuous growth.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to think critically, a strong sense of ownership, and hands-on team player mentality, along with target-focus mindset and ability to drive projects end-to-end with excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate in English and German.

Job Purpose
As a Deal Research Intern at Capcora, you will play a key role in supporting the team’s efforts by conducting in-depth research and data analysis for renewable energy and e-mobility transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy transition sector and contribute to the strategic decision-making process by providing valuable insights on market trends and deal activity. Working closely with team members, you will assist in maintaining and expanding our knowledge database, as well as supporting the development of country-specific economic and industry snapshots. This role offers exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn and grow within the renewable energy and infrastructure financing sectors.
Key Personalities
- Conduct thorough research to identify and gather information on renewable energy and e-mobility deals from various sources, including company press releases, industry publications, and news outlets.
- Explore and evaluate new external data sources, integrating them into the existing database.
- Extract key details from deals, such as transaction values, involved parties, technologies, and geographical locations.
- Organize the collected data into a centralized, easily accessible database.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge database.
- Contribute to the creation of country-specific macroeconomic, industry (size, prospects, etc.), and regulatory snapshots for Capcora’s core markets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Regularly update and maintain the database with the latest deal information.
- Produce regular reports and analysis on deal activity trends and market insights, presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the PowerBI team to integrate data into the company’s data warehousing for broader use across the organization.
For this role, ideally, you bring:
- You are in the last semester of your study program which relates to our area, e.g., finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy combined with the ability to interpret and summarize complex information.
- Familiarity with renewable energy and e-mobility sectors required.
- Prior experience in deal analysis, research, or data management preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
